Double Long Scissor Tables are required for extra long lift tables. Depending on the travel required,
manufacturers allow a maximum platform length due to the cantilever effect of the platform when fully
elevated. For example, a standard table with 36" of verticle travel typically has a maximum platform
length of 72" whereas a double scissor long table with 36" of verticle travel could have a maximum
platform length of 144".
